The United States and the United Kingdom have carried out the attack of four against the goals of Iran-backed Houthi group in Yemen.
According to two American officials, the attacks include at least dozens of targets in numerous countries in Yemen, including targets in the capital, Sanna.
Targets included Houthi weapons, radar sites, command centre and control, as well as underground weapons storage facilities, CNN writes.
Recent attacks come after the Pentagon acknowledged that the Houthi group has recently carried out more attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Adden, some of the most critical waterways in the world.
On Thursday, Pentagon deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh said there had been a “increase in attacks by Houthi, more stability” over the last few days.
