BQK comes up with a video commentary: Adjustion does not limit exchange activity

Kosovo's Central Bank has come up with a video commentary on the new regulation of cash-ready operations that has entered into force on 1 February. In a Facebook commentary video, the CEC has shown what order you see. The regulator envisions treatment procedures and withdrawal from the circulation of the bills [...]
The regulator envisions the treatment and withdrawal procedures from the circulation of Euro currency and other currency allegedly forged. The regulation in question has also set the criteria for exchange of cash bills and euro currencies damaged, as well as the conditions for cash payments transactions. This regulation does not prohibit or limit access to bank accounts in euros to licensed banks, nor limits the exchange activity of any currency being carried out by bank or non-bank financial institutions licensed by the CEC. So all individuals, they have access to bank accounts and they can accept tools in their Euro accounts, through various legal channels”, is said by the CEC.
The CEC has said that all citizens who have an account in the euro, in licensed banks in Kosovo, can use it to accept means from other states.
And those who don't have an account, according to her, can open it at any bank, while vulnerable social schemes groups don't pay the fee for opening or maintenance.
“Only in the four northern municipalities operate four bank branches, three microfinancial (recilative) institutions, as well as 15 non-bank financial institutions for payment and exchange. The number of financial branch offices and offices operating in that area is on the rise, as financial involvement is the BEC's objective. The CEC to provide additional information, in a simple and understandable manner to Kosovo citizens, has released the line in operation PAGACE 0800 222-55. This line is dedicated to citizens from the Serb community living in our country and need to be informed directly and specifically”, said by the CEC.
