EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell, in a text published on the EU Service for Foreign Affairs page, has written that during the Munich Security Conference, he spoke at separate meetings with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, about the depassing of tensions in relations between the two countries.
But as he pointed out, “talks have been unsuccessful”.
In addition to Vuciqi's Kurti, Borrell stresses there have been a large number of bilateral meetings with EU partners from around the world.
Speaking of the results achieved, Borrell stressed that in Munich he presented the four main goals of the EU geopolitical agenda: greater and faster support for Ukraine, the end of the humanitarian disaster at the Gaza Strip, improved EU relations with “the global” and strengthening and security of the Union.
He in a text published on the EU foreign service website shows that the atmosphere at this year's conference in Munich was special because, as he said, all were aware that Europe is at risk because of two wars in the vicinity and many possible conflicts worldwide.
Everyone was aware of the reality at this year's Munich Security Conference that Europe is at risk because of two wars in the vicinity and many possible conflicts worldwide”, Borrell noted among other things.
