So stated former Trump adviser for national security John Bolton, writes CNN.
“NATO would be in real danger, I think he'd try to leave”, Bolton said, in a piece of book “The return of the Great Powers”, which would be published on March 12th.
Otherwise, Trump has long complained about the amount NATO members spend on defence compared to the US.
In “The return of the Great Powers”, numerous advisers tell in detail how Trump nearly pushed the US away from NATO at the alliance's summit in 2018 in Brussels.
