Kosovo's Police Inspectorate has indicated that a police officer in Gjakova has been arrested, suspected of using the official or authority “and “bribery”.
In the media communiqué, it becomes known that the police have accepted 1,000 euros to fulfil two decisions for counter-injury, Klankosova reports.tv.
After accepting the first information in this case, IPK investigators had launched investigations into this case with authorization and co-ordination with the Basic Prosecutor in Gjakova. Following some investigative and operational actions on the field, IPK investigators have been arrested in Gjakova police official (official of the Regional Road Communications Unit) and the Regional Directorate of Gjakova Police) and competent prosecutor has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours”.
“Based on the investigative actions that IPK investigators have carried out so far, it is suspected that the police official has accepted 1000 Euros to complete two decisions for counter-invention (useable), one worth 500 euros, with 3 negative points and 1 year protection measures, and the other worth 200 euros using incorrect citizens' data”, is said further in the communique.
