US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Albania on February 14th, according to U.S. State Department.
While in Tirana, “Secretary Blinken will confirm the close relations between the United States and Albania”, spokesman Matthew Miller's statement said.
The State Department names Albania “a key partner for stability in the Western Balkans and a stable ally in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. ”
After the visit to Albania, Secretary Blinken travels to Germany, where she is expected to attend the Munich Security Conference as part of the delegation led by Vice President Kamala Harris.
During the conference, held from February 16th to February 18th, according to spokesman Miller, Secretary Blinken is expected to hold bilateral meetings “to highlight the continued support of the United States for the people of Ukraine” and to enable discussions with partners on how to achieve peace and security in the Middle East”.
