Prime Minister Edi Rama has launched his speech held at the Pyramid of Tirana, with the words “The Discriptor would be turned into a tomb”.

He said Enver Hoxha wanted Albania to hate Americans, but he knows America is a friend of Albania. He has thanked US Secretary of State Antony Blinken for this visit, saying this meeting opens up the horizons of young Albanians

The dictatorship for which this pyramid was built today is spinning in the grave. He raised us with hatred for you. But today we welcome you and wish you a long relationship. This temple today expands young people's horizons today. Many owners of this pyramid would like to be here today, but the U.S. protocol doesn't allow them. I know you don't have bad intentions. On behalf of all Albanians I welcome you. The keys to our house are in good hands. As we have always said, home, Albania, belongs to God and friend. Thank you with all my heart for being here today.
