Through the post, Secretary Blinken again indicated that with Albanian President Bajram Begaj and Prime Minister Edi Rama, they discussed the road to the EU and the fight against corruption and crime.
Last “I made my first trip as Secretary to Albania, an old US partner and NATO ally. In Albania, with President Bajram Begaj and Prime Minister Edi Rama I discussed our support for its path towards the EU, as well as the fight against corruption and organised crime. I also met with the American Embassy team working each day on top foreign policy priorities, including the restoration of thousands of Afghan allies. Albania's assistance in this effort embodys humanity and its deeply rooted tradition of caring for and sheltering people in need”, Blinken wrote in the Instagram, Klankosova reported.tv.
