Bislimi “breaks” to Lajcak, charges him with unfair and neutral access

The EU Empire for Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has announced yesterday that he met in Brussels with “NCEU”, this civil society network that has been created since 2014 in response to the need for quality and active involvement of civil society in membership negotiations. Lajcak described the meeting as quite good, [...]

This Lajcak report has reacted to the number two of the Government of Kosovo, chief negotiator Besnik Bislimi.

Bislimi has said that Kosovo Prime Minister Lajcak has posted for such a meeting a few hours before reporting for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue on the European Union's Political Security Committee, and according to Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Lajcak has decided not to mention that this has to do with Serbia's civil society.

Kosovo's chief negotiator says, however, the delegation that has met Lajcak consists mainly of non-governmental Serb organisations from Kosovo that, according to him, actively and openly appeal against the integration of local Serbs into Kosovo's economic and social life.

At the end of the response, Bislimi has said that the Slovak emissary should explain whether in his story Serb NGOs from Kosovo are part of the NCEU from Serbia, and if the NCEU from Serbia falls under his umbrella.

Ironically, Bislimi has written that this is a strong demonstration of Miroslav Lajcak's fair and neutral approach in the normalisation process.

“Another strong demonstration of the approach “directly” and “neutral” of Mr. Lajcak to the parties in the normalisation process” wrote Bislimi.

1/3 EUSR Lajcak mailed from a meeting held with NCEU, hours before reporting to PC on the normalisation between Kosovo and Serbia, but died not to mention that it is about NCEU in Serbia.https://t.co/PArbcpyQ7
