The book's promotion is being made on the eve of the 16th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, in the spaces of the National Library of Kosovo “Peter Bogdani”.
The book of British Journalists in Albanian has been brought by the publishing house “Fan Noli”, while his translation was made by former Albanian diplomat Arta Dade.
In this promotion of the book for the former Kosovo president, Hashim Thaci, important personalities from the country are participating, by the majority of Kosovo's political parties, as well as the remaining “Albanian”.

The same book in January was promoted in Albania, on the eve of the anniversary of the Rambouillet Conference, from where Thaci first appeared as the non-impartable leader of the Kosovo Albanians and managed to secure agreements with the internationals allowing Serbia's shelling, the removal of Serbian troops from Kosovo, ensuring the transformation of the Kosovo Liberation Army into the Kosovo Protection Corps, referendum after a deadline to deploy the final people and personal guarantees from US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, that everything would go as well as agreed.
The book “New seventh, modern statesman” speaks of how something more than 20 years ago “a new student-Albanian leader named Hashim Thaci led a revolution against Slobodan Milosevic”.
The book unfolds how Thaci secured NATO and Kosovo intervention, which remains a unique example of a process that led to a peaceful transition from bitter ethnic warfare to modern democracy”.
At the time of the English edition International Affairs (IA) wrote that authors “Rogues and Suzy Jagger tell the story of Europe's newest nation with great caution, as expected by experienced and respected foreign affairs reporters...”.
The book provides a lightning reading for students of Europe's southeast corner that has produced so much violence and hatred since the end of the Cold War. This is an extremely read book”.
