Begging for the anniversary of Independence: Albania to always be side to Kosovo in the face of any threat

Albania's president, Bajram Begaj, has sent telegrams to the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, in honour of the 16th anniversary of Independence.

In the letter sent to Begaj, Belgrade has said that Kosovo today is not only irrefutable reality, but also an example of how Albanians are active contributor to peace and security in the region and beyond.

“I appreciate the intensifying and expanding of our relations, especially in the context of natural strategic co-operation, as two republics of a nation whose fates are linked to Euro-Atlantic civilisation”, Begaj said in his letter.

Furthermore, Begaj said that Albania will always be a side of Kosovo, at every step, to meet any threat or challenge, as well as new memberships in international and regional organisations.
