President of the United States of America, Joe Biden has written a letter of congratulations to Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq on the occasion of Serbia's independence anniversary.
In the prayer message, Beden has found that Serbia made progress in dialogue with Kosovo. He told Vuciqi that the Balkans are in US interest, encouraging “to continue with last year's progress in dialogue with Kosovo”, reports N1, the medium serving as a CNN subsidiary in Belgrade.
“I encourage Serbia to continue with last year's progress in dialogue with Kosovo, which is mediated by the European Union. The agreement on normalisation and implementation presents key steps towards a more peaceful and successful future for Serbia, the region and Europe”, said the Biden message.
On behalf of the U.S. people, Beden sent the best “Wookies.
“The US praises the support Serbia gave Ukraine in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity when it faced Russia's brutal invasion of”, said in part in the US president's message.
The United States strongly supports Serbia's path towards EU membership and remains committed to helping Serbia strengthen its democratic institutions towards meeting that goal. Building a more successful and sustainable Western Balkans is in the interest of the US and Serbia, and in the future I look forward to advancing this goal by strengthening regional energy security and expanding our economic ties”, Biden adds.
