Austria's President Alexander Van der Bellen has congratulated President Vjosa Osmani on the 16th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.

Its hunger is said that Austria and Kosovo have excellent relations, including different spheres.

“Austria and Kosovo share the same European values and agree on a host of issues. In current geopolitical circumstances, especially in the context of a terrible war of aggression carried out by Russia against Ukraine, we stand together as a European family”, says Van der Bellen's letter.

Austria has stressed that it wants to have agreements on reports between Kosovo and Serbia.

Allow me to assure you that Austria will continue to support you on your path to European integration. In this context, we hope that soon there will be a sustainable and functional solution that leads to normalising your relations with your neighbor as soon as possible”, says the letter.
