The former head of the Pristina municipality, Shpend Ahmeti, has declared that Kosovo will create the Association of Communities with Serbian Majority.
Even according to Ahmeti, this association will have executive competence.
And I think that this power has driven us around on trivial subjects, it has created empty themes, and we haven't addressed the main issue that has been very simple. Kosovo Serbs do not accept their situation in which they are and the state of Kosovo as their state. To accommodate these they think there should be some kind of space in decision making more than others and you have to create association which, in my view, will certainly have executive competencies”, he said on the “debate ring at Tv 1.
Ahmeti has further commented on the CEC's decision to ban the circulation of the dinar, saying it is a poor decision both in economic and judicial terms.
There is no such thing as economic, legal, and political decisions in vain. First these have exposed themselves to a very bad thing, our Constitution says the country should have a currency, the BEC law says this will be determined by law, not by euro. The second of all the elements promoted do not stand. And the last public policy is predictable, so it's good when citizens predict what's going on, you can't say from today the euro is no longer worth”, he added.
