AGK: KALLXO team threatened in Skenderaj

The Kosovo Journalists' Association has announced:

KALLXO's Skenderaj team threatened

The online media team Kallxo.com, composed of journalist Adelaina Ahmeti and cameraman Jethmir Hoxha, have been threatened today in the village of Sqaheraj, the Middle Klin, by a citizen of M.H. initials.

Calxon's team, has been held up by the citizen in question since the same were treating a problem about building a church in this village.

In media reporting, the citizen is said to have been using insulting and threatening language against their team, which they have later reported to the Sqaheraj police station.

If I give you God's pledge that trouble has come out of you, it's the threat that M.H. had told them.

The Kosovo Journalists' association is concerned with the threat posed to Kalox co-workers, and calls on the Kosovo Police to address the case as priority.

We condemn any form of threats against journalists, cameramen and other media officers, and we call on competent bodies to establish justice for all threats and attacks towards the media.

Any assault on journalists and media is an attack on free speech and democracy.
