Today, 26 years from the start of the Kosovo war, which began in the villages of Drenica, Likoshan and Crees, where the country called “Three oaks” fought between the Kosovo Liberation Army and Serb criminal forces took place.

Several Serb police officers were killed in the ongoing fighting. As a result, enemy forces surrounded the two villages where 24 innocent civilians were executed.

In the village siege, the enemy used heavy artillery, including helicopters and many other armoured vehicles, including tanks.

Since the first day of fighting, the enemy committed massacres against civilians, only in the Ahmeti family killed 11 people.

A few days later, on March 5th, Serbian military and police surrounded the family of the legendary KLA commander, where the Jashari family endured for 3 days and 3 nights in fighting the enemy.

With Prekazi's war, everything was now clear, the freedom struggle in Kosovo would no longer be stopped.

During fighting until the country's liberation, about 1 million Albanians were expelled from Kosovo, 15,000 were killed, 2,400 of them died. The enemy committed many massacres, such as the one in Abri, Recak, Mea, and many more, writes Kp.

During the war, about 5,000 people have disappeared, the fate of most of them has turned white by 2007, but it is not yet known about the fate of over a thousand missing Albanians.

About 20,000 Albanian women have been raped in this period of time. During the March 1998 period, June 1999, Serbian criminal units and heavy artillery have partially destroyed and burned about 1,100 Albanian settlements, looted, burned, and destroyed over 200,000 houses, residences, local businessmen, craftsmen, factories, schools, libraries, cultural-historic monuments, cultural, scientific, and religious objects.

This war, which began from February 28th 1998 to March 23rd 1999, took place between the Kosovo Liberation Army and Serb criminal forces.

While from 24 March 1999 to 10 June 1999, the North-Atlantic Alliance of NATO, with daily bombings on Yugoslav military targets, with the ground support of the KLA, forced Serb forces and notorious dictator Slobodan Milosevic to sign the capitulation in Kumanovo.
