12 years of Restelic's tragedy, when Amsera Reka was brought out alive

Today, 12 years are filled by the tragedy of Restelica, a village in the municipality of Dragas, where 10 inhabitants of this village - all of a family - have lost their lives as a result of the fall of the snow avalanche.

Dozens of homes were destroyed by this natural disaster, while disaster survived only at that time by 7-year-old Amsera Reka, who already lives in her relatives. Her father, mother, brother, and grandparents died.

The rescue action was organised by the Kosovo Security Force, but reaching the site of tragedy was difficult, due to weather conditions and heavy snow.
