Tredafilova continues mandate as president of The Hague Special Court for four years

Special Chambers through a media report have suggested that the chief of the media EULEX, General Giovanni Barbano, has renamed Judge Ekaterina Trendafilova as Kosovo Specialised Chambers Speaker (DHK) for a four-year term, starting on 16 December 2024.

This, since the current mandate of President Trendafilova, will be completed on 15 December 2024.

Tradafilova has said that “underestimates the confidence that continues to be given” and “is convinced that KSK will continue to undertake its procedures quickly, fairly and efficiently, as defined by the legal framework of court”.
