Tomorrow deadline takes place: 5 political subjects handed over demands for certificate and lists with MPs' candidates

Tomorrow at 4: 00 p.m., the deadline for handing over requests for the certificate of political subjects, as well as lists with MPs' candidates for the February 9th elections, expires.

CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi indicated that so far (December 10th) have accepted applications from 5 political subjects, out of them four political parties and 1 civic initiatives.

The total number of candidates for MPs, representing these political subjects, is 122 candidates.

With the total number of deputies 134. The deadline for handing over candidate lists and certificate requirements is December 11th at 16: 00th, and this deadline set by the CEC is based on the Law for General Elections and, as such, cannot be changed after the process of submitting the candidate list's application, the Office for Registeration of political parties continues with other activities, as is co-operation with other institutions with the purposes of the candidates' verification, and certainly to see whether candidates who are handed over by political subjects are in line with the 31/1 general elections, Ex> said.
