Dragisa Viqef of Jovan Vifjjetevic in their first appearance at the courtroom pleaded not guilty to the allegations they were arrested for.
Both are key suspects by the Special Prosecutor, for the November 29th attack on the Iber Lepenci Canal, which is even under the detention measure.
But, a day earlier, Deputy Minister of Local Power Arber Vokrri said on a television note that one of the suspects has admitted his participation in the implementation of this attack.
However, such a thing was not confirmed by the Kosovo Special Prosecutor.
I inform you that the case you have asked about is in the investigation phase, the collection and analysis of evidence in the Special Prosecutor. At this stage of investigation this is all the information that can be made public”, the Prosecutor's Office for Dukagjin says.
Dragisa Viqejevic's defence lawyer told television that the same did not admit guilt until Viqejev's lawyer told television that it was not true and that whoever said it was lying.
Both are suspected of criminal acts of terrorisation, including the threat of constitutional order with the destruction or damage to public installations and equipment, and illegal weapons.
On November 29, Iber é lepencit's water channel was attacked with explosives, damaging part of it. Part of Kosovo's citizens are supplied with water from this channel, as well as used for cooling KEK thermoelectrics.
After the attack, police together with the prosecution carried out raids, arresting several people, selecting weapons, explosives, uniforms, and emblems.
