Citing the case of state reserves, she says the invitation could have been made earlier.
Justice Minister Albulen Hadziu for Kosovo says the Special Prosecutor is conducting a special <x0-> war against the Kurti government and Vetevendosje Movement.
“The case of state reserves occurred nearly over a year ago, and it was strange how the prosecution at the time when Prime Minister Kurti, as chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement and LVV chairmanship, discussed the candidate list for deputies, is announced by the prime minister that an invitation has come to the quality of the witness in that case. Of course, it was not surprising, but it is actually a clear indication of the special war that this prosecutor is making against Prime Minister Kurti”, Haxhiu says.
According to Haxhiu, this invitation is biased.
The prime minister did not appear at the prosecutor's office today, as presented at the invitation, arguing that he is on a trip abroad planned earlier.
Later, Kurti's office said that “Prime Minister Kurti has expressed readiness to welcome the prosecutors of the case to his office in a day and hours agreed on by both sides to meet the request issued by prosecutorial invitation”.
This, Haxhiu considers to be something “normal if the Special Prosecutor wants Kurti's testimony in the criminal case for which” was invited.
