Mission O The SB has reacted to the failure of the Serbian List by the Central Election Commission (KQZ) for the February 9th parliamentary elections.
Reaction Says O The SB has noted concern over the non-servation of the Serbian List.
According to the announcement, the Certificate Process is a procedural issue supporting democratic elections and should be without political consideration.
“The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has played a key role in promoting democracy and political freedoms in Kosovo for decades, with continued OSCE support. The mission notes with concern that the Central Election Commission today has not certified the Serbian List”.
“Certificate Process is a procedural issue supporting democratic elections and must be without political consideration. We call on the CEC to maintain the integrity of the election process in Kosovo and ensure that later steps are comprehensive and in line with democratic principles”, it says in response.
