The Kosovo Police Union has reacted after the accident that occurred last night, which leaves eight officers injured, writes Periscopi.

From the union, they have called on Kosovo institutions to ensure health coverage for Kosovo Police employees.

“The issue of health insurance for police has long been raised, but so far, responsible institutions have failed to offer a concrete solution. The Kosovo Police Union remains committed to continuing to engage in the rights and welfare of its employees, calling on the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to give this issue the priority it deserves”, it says, among other things.

SO LIDARITS AND SUFFECTS E FOR THE POLITIES

The Kosovo Police Union wishes quick recovery to injured police officials in the recent traffic accident. Voicing concern for this event, the union calls urgently to all state acts to provide health coverage to Kosovo Police employees.

The union addresses the Government of Kosovo with the request that immediate measures be taken to ensure health support for police. This demand is due to a recent suicide in which a police vehicle had an accident, leaving eight police officials injured. Such repeated events highlight the lack of adequate health coverage for those who daily face high risks in the country's service.

The union stresses that providing full health support to police is urgent and necessary not only for their well-being but also for ensuring the efficiency of services to citizens.

The issue of health insurance for police has long been raised, but so far, responsible institutions have failed to offer a concrete solution. The Kosovo Police Union remains committed to continuing to engage in the rights and welfare of its employees, asking the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to give this issue the priority it deserves.

With respect,
Kosovo Police Union
