Abdixhiku wrote on Facebook that with Ahmeti they have discussed recent political developments in Kosovo and Northern Macedonia.

Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku, with associates, hosted the chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI), Ali Ahmeti, at the meeting.
Mayor Obadiah and Mr. Ahmeti discussed recent political developments in Kosovo and Northern Macedonia at a time when stability and regional development remain important for both countries.
Recognizing Mr. Ahmeti and DUI for strengthening the political role of Albanians, Mayor Abdixhiku praised the necessity of preserving the historic achievements of Albanians in Northern Macedonia, as well as strengthening interAlbanian co-operation.
Albanians are the crucial factor for the stability and prosperity of northern Macedonia. The Albanian language and the history of the Albanians constitute infallible identities, Abdixhiku stressed.
Ahmeti highly appreciated the historic role of LDK and President Rugova in Kosovo's independence and in building the state. And so, Mr. Ahmeti praised President Abdixhiku's leadership in the process of restoring the LDK's electoral force, as well as congratulated them successfully in the 9 February elections.
