Market Inspectorate closes 34 massage, local night music centres

The joint event of the Trade Inspectorate under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Trade, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, the Directorate of Trafficking in the People, and with inspectors from ATK, have carried out a broad action of inspection at economic operators, who conduct business activities of body maintenance centres and other activities of entertainment and recreation (night music).

The joint <x0 action has resulted in the inspection of 126 economic subjects, 69 economic operators, who exercise trade activities ) body maintenance activities (the massage centre) and 57 economic operators, who exercise business activities, other activities of entertainment and recreation (night music). The inspectors of the Central Supervisor of the Conform Market have made provisional closures of 34 economic operators throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, due to business registration, as well as a lack of consent/agreement for meeting the minimum technical conditions”, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Trade announced.

It further becomes known that 45 punitive measures under the legislation in force have been pronounced against the law.

Furthermore, it is said that the Central Inspectorate of Market Oversight, conforming to the legal competencies it has, will continue inspections even the following days, and that if violations are found, measures will be taken to prevent the exercise of activity as well as other punishment measures under current legislation in force.
