What Kosovar was accused of by Gjilan yesterday even with the help of the FBI

The FBI file says Liridon Masurica, a citizen from Kosovo, is accused of leading an illegal website called Blac KDB.cc, which has been operating since 2018.

This site offered stolen account and server credentials for sale, as well as credit card information and other personal information that can be used for fraud activities and cybercrime.

“Blac KDB. cc was a website that worked from at least 2018 to now. It illegally offered for sale compromised account and server credentials, credit card information and other personally identifiable information of individuals placed mainly in the United States, including those within Florida's Middle District”, is said in files.

Throughout this site, cyber criminals purchased and used this data to carry out illegal activities, such as tax fraud, credit card fraud, and identity theft.

Masurica is charged with several serious charges, including: The establishment and management of illegal sites, where stolen data was offered for sale, the plot to execute unauthorized access devices, violating US laws, selling compromised credentials and personal data to achieve illegal profits and extracting income from the sale of these stolen data.

“A “access access” was a credit card, license card, code, account number, electronic serial number, mobile ID number, personal ID number or other account tools that can only be used or along with another access device, to get money, goods, services, or anything else of value, or that can be used to launch a fund transfer. Credit card numbers, debit card numbers, user names, and passwords were considered each access device. A “authorization access” was an access device that was lost, stolen, expired, canceled, cancelled or received in order to cheat. 4. Stolen credit card numbers, debit card numbers, user names and passwords offered for sale at BlackDB. cc were unauthorized access devices. B. Conspiracy 5. Starting on an unknown date, but no later than December 21st, 2018, and continuing at least on or about the date of this act, in the Middle District of Florida and elsewhere, the defendant, LIRIDON MASURCA, a/k/a “@blahbbb,” knowingly and deliberately combined, conspired, confederated and agreed to others, known and unknown to the Great Jury, to commit fraud with access to access to 18C. Also, the indictment is said to have committed acts to conceal and distort his intentions and actions to protect the illegal activities of the site.

He is also accused of possessing and using more than 15 unauthorized devices to deceive, violating US federal laws.

“The way and means the defendant sought to realise the object of the plot included, among other things, the following: a. It was part of the conspiracy that MASURICA created Blac k DB. cc illegally intended to facilitate the sale of compromised account and server credentials, credit card information and other personally identifiable information. b. It was then a part of the conspiracy that MASURICA would list and do, and it made them listed, the account credentials and the compromised server, credit card information and other identifiable personal information for sale at BlackDB.cc.”.

“was further a part of the conspiracy that unidentified plotters bought and bought compromised account and server credentials, credit card information and other identifying personal information offered for sale at BlackDB.cc. d. It was then part of the conspiracy that MASURICA would withdraw and attract revenues from Blac k DC.cc revenues from the illegal sale of compromised account credentials and server, credit card information and other personal identifiable information”.

His arrest was done with the help of the FBI, which is helping investigate and apprehend individuals involved in this illegal cyber activity.

The case is the result of an international investigation conducted by Kosovo authorities, the United States of America and Albania, regarding two online criminal markets known as “RYDOX” and “BlackDB”

The investigation has included co-ordinated actions between Kosovo Police, Kosovo Special Prosecutor, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the US Internal Revenue Service, and the authorities of Albania and Malaysia.

During the action, three persons have been arrested, including Liridon Masurica from Gjilan, known as “@blackdb”, who is accused of running the online illegal market “BlackDB”, which has provided and sold personal and financial data of individuals, mainly from the United States.

This investigation has focused on criminal activity involving stealing the credentials of accounts and servers, as well as using these data for fraud activities and cybercrime.

The action has received assistance from various legal services and has included sequencing material evidence such as computers, telephones and cryptovaluta.
