AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has reminded Muje Krasniqi and his 41 soldiers of the 26th anniversary of the heroic fall.
In a Facebook post, he said the Muja and forty-one KLA heroes wrote with blood one of the most glorious pages of history.
We remember today the extraordinary bravery of the Muja the invincible spirit of resistance, which neither bullets nor severe winter can stop on the road to freedom. 41 bravemen from every corner of Kosovo, from 18-year-old Faton Judge to Maliq Karaqica fifty-year-old, joined a sacred ideal”.
“Their sacrifice turns into force and inspiration for the Kosovo Army today . . their dream come true. Six years ago, when we founded the military, I felt that we were fulfilling the trust of these heroes”, Haradinaj said.
On this anniversary, he said they would pledge to preserve and strengthen Kosovo for which they gave their lives.
