Fatos Lubonja spoke for News 24 today about Parashivi Simaku's fate.
The Albanian singer turned to the spotlight after publishing the video, where she appeared poor and homeless on the streets of New York.
After publishing the video, the Albanian reaction was immediate on social networks.
But for analyst Lubonja, the Albanian reaction to Simak is a culture that, according to him, characterizes our country.
He called the mobilization of Albanians for Parashicive Simak “as the culture of the Big Brother”, as Albanians most gossip, Lubonja said.
The analyst described the big noise about the case as hysteria, while saying that Parascev Simaku, in his opinion, was not iconic.
The majority of Albanians gossip, that's the Big Brother culture. Now they're dealing with one person's fate, while there are thousands of Albanians who have left and each had their own destiny.
But these deal with Parashiciva's fate. It may be news, but we have hysteria. In my opinion, Simaku's parable was not an icon. Albania took over the same cultural elite that built soc-resaling”, Lubonja said.
