After the country's prime minister's statement, Albin Kurti, that there could be attacks before and after the New Year in the country's north, the situation in four northern municipalities today was calm. Police Deputy Director for the Northern Region Veton Elshani says the attacks may have, but currently, the situation is calm, though following the attack on the Iber Lepenc channel, police presence has increased. Security director Arben Dasevci said these statements by Prime Minister Kurti should be taken seriously.
On November 29th, critical infrastructure was attacked.
Behind the criminal act on the Iber Lepenci channel in Varaba of Zubin Potok, the Kosovo Intelligence Agency said the terrorist stands, Milan Radojicic.
But as long as it has been about a month since the attack, the State can again be affected by such actions. At least this is how the country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, has warned at a media conference Tuesday, which said that before and after the New Year there may be attacks in four northern municipalities.

It is a large territory, 17% of Kosovo's territory, we have good co-operation with the border police and with specialised units here, but it doesn't mean that the cases will not happen”.
Security director Arben Dashevci stated that the information the prime minister possesses comes from the Kosovo Intelligence Agency.
The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, the president of Kosovo, who is supreme commander of the KSF, receives information that is collected, processed, analysed and synthetised by the most creditable organisations in Kosovo such as AKI”, he has declared.
Dashevci therefore added that Prime Minister Kurti's statements should be taken seriously.
All should be taken seriously after coming from institutions that are educated by our eternal ally the United States, Great Britain and strategic partners. Serbia has always tried to destabilise the Republic of Kosovo, and especially now at the end of it when it comes to the end of”, he said.
Kosovo police increased their presence in the four northern municipalities where, according to this institution, the situation in the north continues to remain fragile.
