CorrWatch: 148 UKPZR grants beneficiaries do not figure in ARBK, 70 do not connect to agriculture

The CorrWatch Initiative after reviewing grants of the Ministry of Agriculture 2020-23, has declared that some profitable businesses have activities that do not relate to agriculture according to data from the Business Record Agency (ARBK). From CorrWatch it's said that “some profitable businesses: They have activities that do not relate to agriculture according to the ARBK, are not registered or registered after the call, have closed their activities after receiving grants”.
According to CorrWatch's published data in 2020/2021, there were 304 beneficiaries, 186 of whom figure them right.
But, “89 beneficiaries do not figure on the official website of ARBK or any other platform where it can be investigated more specifically on their business data”.

“15 of them as Primar Business Activity have registered various activities that have nothing to do with agriculture, 14 beneficiaries have shut down their businesses, although they have won grants”.
In 2022, there were 473 beneficiaries, according to data from this initiative, only 275 of the beneficiaries figure in order.
“11 beneficiaries do not figure on the official website of ARBK or any other platform where it can be investigated more specifically on their business data, 41 of their beneficiaries as Primar Business Actives have registered different asset operations, 4 of them figured as non-active 142 businesses have registered their business in 2023, although the market for grants is open in 2022-1.
And in 2023 of the 446 beneficiaries, 271 of the beneficiaries figure correctly.

Media in Kosovo have reported during November about family favouration and the outbreak of nepotism in the Ministry of Agriculture.
“Initiative CorrWatch” and the Human Rights and Freedoms Council had responded to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development's nontransparentity as they have consistently sought the full list of subsidies' beneficiaries.
