Civil society activists, on the last day of Human Rights Week under the organisation's body, Your Initiative for Human Rights Kosovo, have conducted action through the headquarters of political parties.
Those before the headquarters of political parties have held banners in hand with inscriptions “...all for Kosovo, free from the Femicid”, “... all for Kosovo, free of discrimination”, “ ...all for Kosovo, free of violence”, demanding that political discurs be all inclusive, humble and based on human rights principles.
The event has started from the VV headquarters with banners that have conveyed the party's messages to the February 9th 2025 elections.
Rina Kadir from Y The IHRK- has said that political discourse should be inclusive, humble and based on human rights principles.
“Today, last day of Human Rights Week, Y The IHR is conducting a symbolic action near the headquarters of political parties, to convey a clear and inevitable message, during this electoral period packed with promises, individuals and political subjects, we demand that political disincriminate, humble and based on human rights principles”, she said.
Kadir stressed that political party programmes should reflect a sincere devotion to human rights, equality and the dignity of each individual.
