The Regional Sector for Investigations under the Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova has succeeded in arresting four people (major Kosovo men), on suspicion that the same were involved in carrying out criminal work “identity and credentials”.
As police reports, on the date of 05.11,2024, a citizen reported to the police that 4,500 euros had been withdrawn from his bank account without his knowledge.
Right after this announcement, the cybercrime team has launched intensive investigations. Thanks to the unskilled work of investigators and in close co-operation with the State Prosecutor, four people suspected of carrying out this criminal act have been identified and arrested. Two mobile phones allegedly used for the conduct of criminal work” have been seized in the quality of material evidence, police have said, reports Clankosova.tv.
After interviewing suspects and completing other police procedures, with the State Prosecutor's decision, three of the persons arrested have been stopped in holding.
