The prosecution reports that investigations have confirmed that “Z.P. Armed, uniformed, co-ordinating with other members of Serbian police and military forces, has taken part in the murder, wound, mass deportation and plunder of civilian citizens of Albanian nationalism who were not involved in war”.
The state prosecutor has proposed developing trial in absentia, being the defendant on the run. The Special Prosecutor remains committed to prosecuting crimes committed during the war in Kosovo to ensure justice for victims and responsibility for their leaders, in line with international standards. ”
