Attack on Germany: Tens Wounded in Serious Situation

At least 15 people have been seriously injured after a car has entered the crowd in Magdeburg, German authorities say, the BBC writes.

68 people were injured in the incident, which they're treating as an attack, and two people were confirmed dead.

Tens of people were injured and several others were killed Friday after a car crashed a crowd in a Christmas market in Germany's eastern town of Magdeburg, in what local officials are describing as a terrorist attack.

The Guardian has already made it known that the number of victims was not immediately clear, but German media, citing emergency services in the region, said that between 60 and 80 people could have been injured, 15 of them reportedly are in more serious condition.
