21 MPs and opposition representatives prosecuted after roadblocks, seven civilians arrested

Police have indicated that they have put seven people in custody, while prosecuted 21 deputies and opposition representatives following the roadblocks a day earlier in Tirana. Police say from the investigations thus far results that during the gathering organised yesterday, “deputs, or representatives of political subjects the Party [...]

Police say that from the ongoing investigations results that during the gathering organised yesterday, “deputes, or representatives of political subjects the Democratic Party of Albania, the Republican Party and Freedom Party have called on the collectors, to join them, to block the roadblocks so that there is no movement of vehicles. Rallyors have strongly opposed duty police officers, and have disobeyed their orders to release road axes”.

“About organised gatherings yesterday, by representatives of the political subject Albania's Democratic Party, on several street axes and binding points of the capital, we inform that the Tirana Police Department and the commissioners depending on it have carried out all investigative and procedural actions to identify and bring criminal responsibility to citizens who committed lawlessness during the gatherings. At the conclusion of these actions:

- Citizens R were arrested in French. B., 27, A. H., 21, J. C., 27, A. C., 25, G. S., 55, V. G., 59, and C. K., 31, as well as prosecuted, in a free state, 21 citizens, for criminal acts “Prudimentary circulation of transport tools”, “Consistent of Public Order Police Officer” and “Organising and participation in illegal manifestation gatherings”;

-They were prosecuted, in a free state, citizens F. N., A. Q, C.J., I. K., A. M., J. M., T. A., A. P., E. E., L.H., I. K., S. J., A. K., A. V., O. B., F.H., A. W., P. D., A.G., E. H., L. M., R. L., G. S., D. M., St. M., A. M., A. M., A. K., A.A., M. G., A.H., T. B., A. P., G.B., L.B., F. M., L. G., S. C., E. J. and I. Z., with the parliamentary duties of Albania's Parliament and/or representatives of Albania's Democratic Party, Republican Party or Freedom Party, for criminal acts “Veging the flow of transport vehicles”, “Organisation and participation in illegal manifestation gatherings”, “Disobedience to the orders of public order officer<5>, “Public Order and quiet” and <8> Construction of public order employees <169).

From the ongoing investigations results that during the gatherings organised yesterday, deputies or representatives of political subjects, the Democratic Party of Albania, the Republican Party and Freedom Party have called on collectors, to join them, to block the roadblocks so that there are no movement of vehicles. Rallyors have strongly opposed duty police officers, as well as have not obeyed their orders to free the vehicles.
