The SSASK with a warning to the August government: Protests and Strikes Will Be Faced

Do not meet demands by the Government of Kosovo and the Ministry of Education, the United Education Union will soon be forced to protest and hold a strike.

These union acts have been warned by the head of the SBASK, Nundman Jasharaj.

 

Jasharaj says there have been two years since Minister Nagavci is ignoring teachers in their demands.

“We have no signal on our requests from Minister Nagavci that two years just ignores us”, Jasharaj says.

 

He has made known what they will do to oppose the approach of the government and August.

We are negotiating with membership, what if it continues with the wrong approach of the Nagavci government. The commission will decide and if this continues there will be union actions, we will have protest first, and if there is no positive result, we will continue on strike”, Jasharaj said.

 

With the January salary increase for 55 euros not being shared by teachers, the SBASK leader says.

According to Yashaj, the salary increase has had to be raised by November, not January, and another sum.

The statement on wage growth has added even more dissatisfaction with membership. The entire public sector is very unhappy. It has now had to increase wages, not in January, and not so little”, says Jasharaj.

On the other hand, the SBASK leader estimates that the government's government's salary increase promise is not based on law.

“The ironic 55-euro hike in January is impossible that Murati has the right to move at the value of the coffient, but with his own cofficient neither he nor Kurti sıcan fair”, Jasharaj concluded for “Front Online”.

Now, how long the government's incomplete demands for SBASK are the Law of Salaries and the value of the cofficient and dissatisfaction with changing pension scheme.

The latest teacher's strike is held at the start of the 2022-2023 school year, which lasted a month.
