On one side is the LDK, the reformist party, which has the main share in the establishment and independence of Kosovo. Founding the majority of Kosovo institutions, consolidation and citizenship, membership in international organisations and deepening co-operation with permanent allies such as the US, Britain, the EU, NATO, etc.

While on the other hand is Vetevendosje, which denied and fought independence, the flag, anthem and the entire state of Kosovo, attacked Kosovo institutions, destroyed Kosovo's alliances and brought the country under international sanctions and isolation.
