Former top diplomat Petrit Selimi has warned of indictment against the deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement, Dimal Basha and Arbene Kryeziu, who accused him of having lobbied in Brussels against removing Kosovo's punitive measures.
On a Social Network Text “X”Selimi has clarified that such a thing is not true, and that, on the contrary, he has criticised the EU for holding sanctions.
“Two deputies of the VV's governing regime have stated several times over the past few weeks that I have “released in Brussels”, as the top official “PDK” to maintain EU sanctions against the Kosovo government. These are plain lies, but I'm preparing an indictment for confession.
I'm not the top “” PDK nor any PDK official. I have never been to Brussels in 2024, and I have never lobbied for the EU to carry sanctions. I have done the opposite: I have criticised the EU for the folly of these sanctions. ” He wrote.
He has said the two VV deputies would have to prove their groundless accusations in court.
“E know it's electoral campaign and the dirty mode of VV over decades of their existence is to tarnish, threaten, physically attack anyone who thinks otherwise, but these two lying MPs will have to prove their baseless accusations in court.
I have the facts on my side. I also have threatening messages from the VV trolls that I'm going to deliver to the court. All eventual incomes would be donated to the women of the Great Krusha who lost men in war but were denied help from this morally and financially corrupt government elite. ” He said.
Finally, Selimi also mentioned President Vjosa Osmani's statement, which criticised the Kurti Government for its access to the country's allies.
Kosovo has sanctions because we have a government that has been catastrophic for the past four years and is not wanted. President Osmani himself accused the government in her annual speech of gambling with our future with groundless attacks against allies. See you in court. ” He wrote.
A: two sitting MPs from the ringing response VV in Kosovo have stayed several times that I have “ild in Brussels” last week weeks, as a “Supreme of PDK” to keep EU arrangements against Kosovo government. These are blast lies but I'm now preventing a law for evil. -1
