Rinas robbery in 2019, sentenced to 18 years in prison, Talo Chela

The event took place on April 9, 2019. The Special Anti-Corruption and Organised Crime Prosecutor had sought 19 years in prison for Tallo Chela, while the JCKKO has made the decision on the 18-year sentence.

Currently, Tallo Cela is being sought by Albanian authorities and the trial for it was made in absentia and separated from the rest of the group.

It was declared in search of Operation “GoldenPulmb”, which led to the capture of Nuredin Duman, Henrik Hoxhaj, as well as several other persons, part of the crime world.

For the 2019 event, the JKKO in October last year sentenced 7 defendants of the criminal group to 122 years in prison.

Clement Chala was sentenced to 20 years, while the other six Oltion Veselin, Renaldo Sulaj, Saimir Cela, Oltion Picley, Alkon Bangasi and Eldi Chala were 17 years in prison.

The convicts are serving their sentence in a maximum security prison.
