Such acts of violence have no place in our society. They threaten citizens' security, undermine democratic processes and aim at destabilising our institutions. Mayor Ilir Peci represents our commitment to a more united and better Kosovo, where all citizens are treated equally. Such efforts should be supported, not sabotaged.
We call on law enforcement bodies and justice systems to investigate this case urgently, identify the authors and bring them to justice. The safety and well-being of our citizens must remain high priority, and impunity for such acts cannot be tolerated.
How The PDK, reverses our application to rule bodies to provide protection and ensure the security of the mayor and other officials of the Zvecan municipality.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo stands firmly next to Mayor Peci and the citizens of Zvecan. We will not allow fear and violence to hinder our common progress towards a better Kosovo for all.
