Mustafa for SAA: The VV once opposed the deal, now it's good to know its value

Former Prime Minister Isa Mustafa has shown the importance of Kosovo signing The SAA with the EU.

Commenting on the support this agreement has given today to Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Buslimi, Mustafa has said it is good that the VV has changed its stance about the SAA.

Mustafa has said that in the period when this agreement was signed Kosovo had a golden time of co-operation with internationals.

I am happy that we arrived in 2016 to sign the first contractual agreement with the European Union, the SAA. It was achieved with a co-operation and support from all EU countries. I can say that it was a golden time of international cooperation and support in stark contrast to an atmosphere similar to the civil war caused by the then opposition. The VV rejected the agreement, now it is good to have understood its worth, but it must be said that sanctions imposed on the Bislimi government also capture co-operation regarding the SAA, which is great damage to Kosovo”, Mustafa has told Nacional.
