Today in Suhodol, Mitrovica, mortore remains of a victim allegedly on the list of missing persons from the last war in Kosovo have been exhumed.
This was announced by the Government Commission for Missing Persons.
This commission suggests that these exhumated morto remains will be sent for necessary forensic examinations and identification through scientific DNA analysis.
“mets have been carried out in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, and the Institute of Legal Medicine. The Government Commission for Missing Persons will be kept informed of the findings results. The government of the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to continuing engagement and work, giving priority to lighting up the fate of the violent missing during the war to end the 24-year-old anxiety of waiting for family members to know the whereabouts of their most loved ones”, the report said.
