MI gives another one-time tender for expansion of Pristina-Podujevo road, worth over 288 thousand euros

In the expansion of the Pristina-Podujevo National Road, additional jobs have again emerged. With negotiated procedure without publishing the contract announcement, the Ministry of Infrastructure has awarded another tender for this road.

Additional jobs will be done in Lot 3, until the contract's value is over 288 thousand euros.

The tasks will conduct the consortium “Agbes Direct Construction; Arbotec SH.P.K.; GEO CONSTRUTION sh.p.k; M INERAL L.L.C.; BM Group S.P.K.”.

The contract for additional work has also been made for other tears.

Some specifics are given in the tender file at the price.

“All products should be quality and bidder in his bid should include certificates of quality and standards, as well as brochures or catalogs of products with technical product data that you share in the tender. Control and obtaining underground installations, selecting eventual problems related to the operational construction plan, as well as drafting the operational detail plan related to the construction process. The price will also be estimated at the eventual cost of the electronic intensification of subterranean installations as well as the exact environment of installations that should be maintained during the construction time and in case the damage is made to repair them (the electricity, the home phone network, the network, etc.) and infrastructure” in the file.

The contract was granted two days ago, and its signature is scheduled to take place tomorrow.

According to the tender file, the Pristina-Podujevo road has had to be completed by the end of August. Works on this road have started on July 3rd 2023, and their finalisation is set to take place for 425 days, therefore 31st of this year. That didn't happen.

However, Minister Aliu has voiced confidence that this road will end during his mandate.

“Normically is a year's deadline, including working days, and possibly that even when there are problems with weather, there may be delays and no count of days, which normally amount to 365 days. In the case of Podujevo Street, everything is going on in the deadline so far. In the bridges, the Lulshhan Bridge, the Vranidol Bridge, the bridge in Bardhosh, we're stuck behind some pillars of KEDC, but all of them are problems that are being solved and moving to a rhythm of”, Ali said.
