Lekaj says the EU is losing patience with Kurt's approach, especially when it comes to agreements signed earlier.

The EU's “response to Kurt for Association is a clear message that Kosovo cannot avoid the responsibilities it has taken within the dialogue. The European Union seems to be losing patience with the approach of Prime Minister Kurti, especially when it comes to agreements signed earlier”, he says.

Among other things, the MP stresses that the EU sent a warning message that without a full commitment to dialogue, the country's political and economic progress could be blocked.

He adds that this situation is showing once again the current government's failure to create a clear and co-ordinated strategy with international partners on such sensitive issues.

“In this context, the EU is sending a warning message not only for the Government of Kosovo, but also for public opinion, that without a full commitment to dialogue, the country's political and economic progress could be blocked. This situation shows once again the current government's failure to create a clear and co-ordinated strategy with international partners on such sensitive questions”, he concluded for Blic newspaper.
