Chairman The PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has been asked why he did not run for the prime minister's post, but has entrusted it to Bedri Hamza.
Krasniqi has said that, should be thought of Kosovo and its future, not personal political appetite.
According to Krasniqi, Kosovo has no better candidate than Bedri Hamza.
Before work, I think we shouldn't be alone in politics with our own egos. It's very important that we depersonize policy from the ideas of unsurpassed leaders. I, as head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, believe that the main responsibility also for the organisation and, above all, I have had to offer a government garrison that leads with the best man for today. And I am convinced that there is no better prime minister in Kosovo than Bedri Hamza in the context and the current situation in which Kosovo is today and in which it has resulted from the total lack of a governing vision of current government. Lack of competence, the fact that there has been a government so far without experience, which has had no vision, without courage, a government that has not focused on topics that interest citizens and families in Kosovo.
They have really degraded the situation to that level where we today unfortunately have about 300 thousand citizens who have left Kosovo only during the current government mandate. And my full faith has been that, we need a man who, I have full faith, and the trust of the citizens grows every day, I can lead a government that really works. A government that keeps its word, a government that serves citizens, and turns Kosovo back on track that as a people we have wanted towards Euro-Atlantic integration, but also economic development. Kosovo needs a new approach, needs a different approach, needs a Government that dares even dream about accomplishing major projects”, Krasniqi has indicated.
