“NATO, KFOR, strongly condemns the attack on Zubin Potok's water pipeline, which had a serious impact on water supply and electricity to northern Kosovo. It is important to confirm the facts and hold the authors accountable and bring to justice”, KFOR has said.
KFOR said it has provided security in the country and surrounding areas, and has also helped with logistical annihilation of explosive means and support for Kosovo institutions.
KFOR personnel since last night have provided security in the water pipeline and in surrounding areas; also, KFOR has offered to provide logistical annihilation of explosive devices and engineering support for institutions in Kosovo”.
Meanwhile, KFOR reiterates that it continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
“KFOR works in close co-ordination with Kosovo Police and EULEX (the European Union for Law Rule in Kosovo) in their respective roles as security responseors”.
