Candidate of The PDK for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, does not trust the figures of Prime Minister Albin Kurti for the 2025 budget.
He has suggested that Kurti should show that the figure presented by 3.6 billion budgets is only planning.
On the “Robikon” show in Klan Kosova, Hamza has said the important is how much that figure is executed.
“I need to see if you're talking about the planned amount, are you talking about the amount of accomplishment? The budget is likened to execution. You can plan 3. 6 billion, but how many do you execute? It turns out that every year we've had budget management, especially in capital investments, where money goes back to taxpayers. If it is said that you put it together after 60 percent, you waited for execution to occur, not planning”, Hamza said.
He has also commented on Kurt's claims that he has increased the budget by 60 percent by 2020.
Hamza showed that at the time The PDK was in power and the budget had increased 100 percent.
According to him, this has happened in the shortest period of time.
“In the past, in the shorter period of time, not that of the 60 percent increase, is 100 percent. Let's compare the end of 2007, and the end of 2010, over 100 percent has increased”, declared Hamza.
Otherwise, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been commended for having raised his government's budget by 50 percent.
“The budget of 2025 billion euros was approved today in the Assembly, and is for about 9% higher than the pre-year budget, or 60% higher than in 2020 and 50% higher than in 2021 (years when I was prime minister with inherited predecessors budgets). This budget contains higher salaries for all employees in the public sector, increased pensions by 20%, as well as additions of grown children. They also support businesses, women undertakers, and young people who start a career. Farmers to Continue Supported in Region”, Kurti wrote in his account at “Facebook”, following the budget Law approval session.
