Peci's adviser said in ATV that he applied regularly, but did not or deny that he was favoured by the minister of Agriculture.
It's not about cash that people understand, it's not about a gift that someone gives 100 thousand euros,” said Huruglica, adding that it's about a co-investment where farmers contribute part of their investment.
He added that to take advantage of this programme, applicants must prove that they are engaged in agricultural activities, as individuals or as legal subjects.
“I have a business with another partner and several Austrian partners, an agricultural business where we've planted apple fruit, raspberry and Cherry fruits since 2014, 10 years ago and we've got a double to get a state aid, I call it a benefit in the sense that it's a co-investment where the government annually shares a lot of tools for every farmer who meets the set criteria”, he said.
