Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico has announced that his country will send 150 soldiers under KFOR to Kosovo.
Fico determined that initially, early next year, 60 soldiers will arrive and that the same will join the rest of the pre-congent.
The Slovak soldiers want to return to the KFOR mission again. I am glad the Serbian side accepted this with pleasure. This (Turnout in KFOR, entred.) matters a lot, because this is how we get objective information to know what is happening there”, the Slovak president told Serbian public broadcaster RTS.
Responding to questions about whether he expects pressure due to Slovakia's decision to close its liaison office in Pristina, Fico said his country is always mentioned and called for such decisions.
“for Kosovo, St.red.), that we will see that matter differently, and I always say no. Until I am head of the Slovak government, I will never return to that subject. I of course want this problem solved as soon as I can, said Slovak President Robert Fico.
