Constructions have increased, but sales have dropped by 60%, Kosovo municipality association says

Edison Trnava from the Kosovo municipal Association has spoken about the construction sector in Kosovo.

During an interview for %s RTK, he has said that according to data they possess, the number of construction has continued by increasing, while sales have decreased.

But it has added that prices have continued to rise drastically.

“We have increased construction, but we have a decrease in sales and price hikes. The drastic price freeze, the shopping demand has dropped if we talk about the period 2022 by the end of 2023 or early 2024 is 50-60% decrease in sales while construction has continued, there is no partial data I have on the rise”, he said.
